In Washington there is something to do for everyone, no matter whether they enjoy the city life or are seeking an outdoor adventure. Washington travel information is a combination of interesting culture, wonderful foods, fascinating sites, and accommodations for all.

There is treasure to behold in Washington's past. Though most now will remember its coffee shops and music contributions, the indigenous people left an influence that can be seen in their art. The state shares borders with Oregon, Idaho, and the country of Canada. It is an awesome thought that hours away lies a whole other country. Montana's beauty is close by, as well.

The Northwest Native Arts Market and Festival is hosted in Tacoma annually. The city is also where the Washington State History Museum presents is Native American exhibits. The Tacoma Art Museum and Museum of Glass are also wonderful finds of the city. So though they had grunge scene, Washington is about more than plaid shirts and big cups of coffee.

Mount Rainier National Park is a snow-covered mountain that features wildlife, wildflowers, and an active volcano. The park is open all year, with some closures in specific areas. For those that love the great outdoors, it is an excellent way to commune with nature.

The Space Needle is a must for all sightseers. Though it is often heard of, many may not understand the view it offers. Travelers get a 360 degree view of the city and for diners it is a wondrous site to gaze upon Seattle's beauty in the daylight or glamorous nighttime.

Pike Place Market in Seattle is a combination of the ordinary and the unique. Visitors will have access to sweets, crafts, and exotic eats. This market began over 100 years ago and has become a Mecca for vacationers worldwide. It has lots of entertainment, housing, and of course farmers peddling their product. It is the perfect place to find gifts of all manners.

With its 120,000 gallon aquarium exhibit called Windows on Washington Waters, visitors are offered a glance into what goes into Washington's water world. The exhibit also offer a diving show daily. Travelers can interact will aquatic creatures.

Near Seattle is the city of Snoqualmie. As close at it is to Seattle, it is a very different experience. Among the treasures are the view of Snoqualmie Falls, golfing, and a casino. Those that want a little more excitement can visit the Snoqualmie pass and ski or hang in the lodge enjoying a warm fireplace and relaxing vibe of a suite.

Those traveling to Washington will want advance notice of weather conditions. Though known mostly for the rainfall, the sun shines quite a bit and there is snow depending on where visitors go and the time of year. Washington has a weather that is uniquely its own.
